an Aussie friend living in Switzerland went on a trip to Japan just recently. he asked me for tips on where to go and what to do. one of the rec's i had given him was to check out the Hankyu MEN's department store in Osaka. its a 6-storey building dedicated solely to men's fashion. it is of special interest to me because in it houses the only menswear-exclusive Louis Vuitton boutique in the world. here are a couple of photos he was kind enough to share with me:

coincidentally, i was in Tokyo when it opened last February. but sadly, i only found out about it afterwards. it would've been my kind of heaven *SIGH* this is definitely a top priority the next time we visit Japan.
