i feel sorry for the LV Castlereagh St boutique in Sydney. for the third time in 5 years, it got robbed once again. it wasn't as spectacular as ramming a Subaru WRX straight through the doors, but at around 12:30 this morning two men carrying a hand gun and a sledge hammer walked in on unsuspecting staff - i assume they were either the cleaners or SAs working on the new displays, grabbed a few bags and left. easy peasy. thankfully nobody got hurt.
could these be the acts of desperate men wanting to appease their difficult wives or girlfriends? only goes to show just how valued designer bags are these days. jewel heists are a thing of the past. bags probably easier to resell on the black market anyway.
but its business as usual for LV. here's a photograph taken today showing the windows already decorated with Sprouse Tribute Roses in preparation for their big launch tomorrow:
